The most outstanding element in our stay was the staff's helpfulness and service.
Parking at the hotel was expensive. I didn't realize this when making reservations.

Outrageous drink prices in bar. No hair dryer in room.

The old Mallory Hotel, beautifully redecorated, old Hollywood theme. Wonderful jazz music playing both indoors and out. Friendly staff and unbeatable service. Great food.

Loved the older Hollywood theme. Beautiful remodel of hotel.
We were charged $30 extra per night becuse we needed 2 beds

Hotel is older, remodeled to look like Hollywood in the 1920s. The architects and designers did a fabulous job with attention to details from the fabrics to the faucets to the bathrooms.

Very small room, valet 25 dollars extra and
you pretty much had to pay it unless you wanted to walk a mile in a dangerous part of town, especially at night.

An excellent property that is tucked in a neighborhood - yet walking distance to anything downtown. Everything was excellent from the staff to the Aveda products in the bathroom.
